Is my data sent to a server?
No. The entire merge process happens in your browser using pdf-lib. Your PDF files never leave your device — there is no upload, no server processing, and no data collection.
Is there a limit on the number of files I can merge?
There is no hard limit. You can merge as many PDF files as your browser's memory allows. For very large files (hundreds of megabytes), you may experience slower performance.
Can I reorder the pages before merging?
You can reorder the PDF files using the up/down arrows before merging. The pages from each file will appear in the merged output in the order you arrange them. Individual page reordering within a file is not supported.
Does this preserve bookmarks, links, and form fields?
The merge preserves page content, annotations, and embedded fonts. However, cross-document bookmarks, form fields, and some interactive elements may not carry over due to limitations of client-side PDF processing.
